The hotel was an easy base for enjoying a beautiful area, just next door to all the main sights and hikes in the Lakes, a quiet valley in the Lake District, and west coast.

Everything was perfect and the rooms were well furnished and unique. Location: the hotel was right by a quiet valley in the Lake District, Hawkshead for lunch and south Windermere. It also was nowhere to sit outside in the garden. They offered us fabulous meals, had a wide array of options to choose from.

What a great stay, nothing too much trouble. Delightful and nicely furnished room overlooking valley. - A wide range of facilities such as an electric kettle, a stone fireplace, and central heating.

our christmas party at the b&b in lowick green was incredible! the period features and comfortable beds made us feel like we stepped back in time. the host was so hospitable and even made us tea on arrival. we loved the quiet location and it was a short drive to windermere. thank you for a lovely time!

The deluxe double room was nicely decorated and had everything I needed. the bathroom was great, with a shower, a hairdryer, and big fluffy bath towels. 🛁

Limited outdoor seating and no table and chairs in the garden. Would have been nice to have tea and coffee available in the lounge or to take outside.
